In this world filled with liars, cheaters & deceptive people, we all encounter trust issues. One easy noticable trait of every untrustworthy person is; they struggle to empathize people. Those who lack empathy are much better at being able to deceive or hurt someone and the ability to empathize with others is something most untrustworthy people lack. An empathetic person would be hesitant to hurt someone else since they can imagine the pain their actions could cause. It acts as a barrier to hurtful behavior. If someone is capable or even comfortable with backstabbing or betraying others, they usually lack empathy. They likely won’t take responsibility for their damaging actions and don’t even know that they lack the ability to empathize.
Untrustworthy people are self-serving, they care only for themselves and can’t see past their own perspectives. Some people are even able to use empathy selectively and only when they stand to gain from it, which can make this trait even harder to spot observing how someone acts toward others, especially those they can’t benefit from will reveal their true nature. A lack of empathy is a red flag when it comes to gauging someone’s trustworthiness.
Friends usually ask me “How you manage to stay motivated whole day!?” Never changed my answer & i never will. My answer is; MY PEOPLE & MONEY. I am a strong believer in material growth, MONEY is always a priority. Now that i have mentioned this word “PRIORITY”; the earlier you will understand your priorities, the quicker your path to happiness will start opening in a big way.
Make a goal which can keep you awake with a smile, which can make you the best worker for yourself, at the end it must make you enough tired so that you can get a cozy happy sleep like a baby. No need of motivation from someone else. In my case, i am just excited towards everything new, i read a lot, i learn a lot, i read ton of news and articles on finance or tech, most of the time i keep on learning something from skillshare. They all help me remain positive to see “WHAT’S NEXT!!”. The day you will figure out your way towards priorities & desires, that’s it. At the end i must mention; “MOTIVATION IS AN EXAGGERATED WORD. I AM JUST AN EXCITED PERSON. I WANNA SEE WHAT TOMORROW IS PLANNING TO OFFER ME. THAT EXCITED ME ALWAYS REPRESENTS AN EXCITING PERSON IN ME TO THE WORLD”.
Confident people don’t need constant praise. Have you ever been around someone who constantly needs to hear how great they are? Well confident people are not like this. They don’t need constant praise. They know that their success does not depend on other people’s approval and they understand that no matter how well they perform, there’s always going to be somebody out there offering nothing but criticism.
Confident people also know that the kind of confident that’s dependent on praise from other people isn’t really confidence at all, it’s narcissism. Such people work for their happiness which is their purpose, that’s the reason their every action seems worthy. Confidence is sassy & confident people are always sexy in my eyes.
People are always divided with opinions towards a happy life. Some believe MONEY is important & some believe LOVE is important. This fight between MONEY & LOVE is so peculiar that i laugh at it whenever this discussion pops up.
What nobody talks about is, both are a painstakingly time consuming slow process till you reach it’s epitome. Most people purposefully lie about both of these two. At the end, you get exactly what you invest. Even a small lie has it’s consequences, Karma keeps a count of it’s course. People fail in MONEY (material growth) or LOVE because of their impatient behaviour or inconsistency. Stay calm, quiet, upfront and focused while you are fetching something purposeful in life.
Most people fail to walk their TRUTH, fail to be true to self and others at the same time. Being honest never comes easy, but it’s easier than any kind of lie/deceit or hiding something. This is what sets a truthful person apart from random crowd. TRUTHFUL OR A HONEST PERSON, i am talking about.
They own up to their mistakes. Honest people have all kinds of amazing traits, but obviously no one is perfect. Everyone makes mistakes, but what sets honest people apart is their willingness to take responsibility and apologize when they mess up. You’ve probably encountered someone who’s bad at saying sorry. Instead of owning up to their mistakes they’ll make excuses or apologize that you experience negative feelings, not that they did something wrong. Honest people are different. Those with integrity seek the truth, even if the truth exposes them for doing something wrong. They will swallow their pride and their ego for the sake of an authentic and sincere apology. Telling the truth doesn’t come naturally. Defense mechanisms, like blame projection and deceit are much easier alternatives in the moment, but avoiding responsibility only creates more trouble.
Hopefully this will help you identify if you are someone honest or someone in your life is truly honest. It might also make you realize that perhaps you’re not as honest as you thought. Nevertheless we should all pursue truth, even when it seems daunting and difficult. The world needs more honesty. If you lie about who you are or about someone else, what actually happened or how you feel, you’ll only dig yourself deeper into a problem of your own creation. The choice is yours. Be honest or lie, what you choose will impact your life immensely.
Lying may be more common than you think. One study found that 40% of adults lie at least once in a day, usually in small ways. And even though some people lie more or less than others, a lie is a lie. So how do you navigate a world full of liars when you value honesty and integrity. Here are two major traits of genuinely honest people so you can decide whether you or someone in your life is truly a honest person:
1. They have a calm yet strong speaking voice. One of the easiest telltale signs of lying is an aggressive voice when you catch someone in a lie, they’ll often raise their voice in defense as a way to establish power. Honest people rarely become defensive when they’re asked questions, even if those questions seem accusatory in nature. When an honest person replies, their tone of voice is calm and consistent since there is no possible way they’ll be found out. They have nothing to worry about. There is no reason to lie or make up a story. There’s nothing to hide.
2. Honest people come across as rude sometimes. They are less concerned with catering to your feelings. They would rather tell you a truth that hurts then let you believe a lie that makes you feel good about yourself. They aren’t afraid to tell the truth, even if it means they’ll come across as rude or harsh. Because of this fact you might think an honest person is mean sometimes. If you’re not ready for the raw unadulterated truth, then don’t ask an honest person. They’re Not going to sugarcoat a situation or pretend that everything is OK. When it isn’t OK, they’ll present the facts and give their personal opinions even if it’s not what you want to hear. If you’ve ever received tough information from an honest person know that their intent is not malice, It’s HONESTY.
Two things always go hand in hand: SUCCESS & RESPECT. Be good at what you do. Everyone loves competent people, especially those who present their best work all the time. You may just be starting out in your profession, but that doesn’t mean you’re not deserving of success & respect.
It’s about starting small and building from there. It’s through improving and gaining experience that you establish yourself and earn the respect of others for your efforts. It’s not an overnight process, but eventually it will gain right people’s attention which may bring tons of prosperity your way.
During my engineering college days I was part of a group with all electronic & rap music enthusiasts. We all planned to form a band together, because that time was all about boy bands or music groups like black eyed peas, linkin park, back street boys, pussycat dolls. There were two lead guitar players in our group, sometimes i still see EMY from electrical engineering branch playing drum, i was good at playing piano/electric keyboard/launchpad, there were two singers with high pitch vocals & it was an amazing combination of 6 young energetic people. The best part is we all failed together in becoming a band. I loved the failure part of it, because we weren’t something unique or better for the same reason. Studying engineering is a tough journey on it’s own, we didn’t put enough time into our music.
Most of the time i see young people peep into an idea which is more like lust towards Money or Fame that they don’t deserve. Today i am talking about something called “Group goals”. I am saying it out of observation & experience. Whenever someone says “I am planning to do something different with friends or in a group, let me assure you that amazing nonsense will never materialize to real world“.
We don’t see the same dream with 5 others. If you aren’t habituated to walk alone towards your GOALS, your GOAL is nothing but a daydream.
